My project for 2026 was to come up with a club of some sort. I decided on a podcast club that I am calling The Pod Squad.

The members of the club will each select an episode of a podcast to share. They will send them to me and when I have them all, I will let everyone know what the episodes wil be, but not who selected which.

All members will listen to all the podcasts and then, we will all meet up, and each person will reveal which was their episode, and talk about why they chose it Then everyone can talk about what they thought - and hopefully those discussions will be enjoyable to all.

I thought that once a month would be a good period that would allow enough time for people to listen to them all. I decided to start off small to see how it would work out, but I don't want it to grow too much as that would involve too much listening and it might become a chore rather than a pleasure.

So I started with 6 of us, with an aim of stopping at 10 people.
